Passive Repeaters & Femtocells for low mobile reception

A Passive Repeater or NEW Femtocell are the totally legal alternatives to a highly illegal mobile repeater

To boost your phone signal you have two options: Either through using a Femtocell or a Passive Repeater kit.

The first thing you should note is that given the choice between a Passive Repeater and a Femtocell, you should always choose the Femtocell as they are far more effective in boosting a mobile signal.

We would only suggest using a Passive repeater if your mobile carrier does not support our Femtocell.

Supported Carriers for the CEL-FI RS|2 Femtocell include:

If you are on the Vodafone network then we strongly suggest our Vodafone sure signal 2 to boost your mobile signal.

All other networks will need a Passive Repeater to boost mobile signal.

Please note:

Not only are our mobile signal boosters perfectly legal they are also far more effective than mobile repeaters. Mobile repeaters are illegally shipped into the country and so do not carry a CE certificate, meaning you are risking buying badly made and defective devices.

What the companies that sell mobile repeaters 'forget' to tell you, is that they are completely illegal to use! If you are discovered using one you may be facing a prison sentence or huge fines from Ofcom. Ofcom have ways to track the use of mobile repeaters and when they track you down you can expect a £5,000 fine.

Passive Repeaters for all networks

If your mobile doesn't support Femtocell, a passive repeater is a great alternative to use as it covers all networks. However, as it isn't powered, it is less effective than the Femtocell but still a great alternative option.

In order for the kit to work, you'll need to find an area where you get a good signal, which is where you need to place the first antenna. Then, simply connect this to the second antenna which should be positioned in the area that you require the signal.

As simple as that.
